The Early Years Foundation Stage Framework

Curriculum Handbook
The curriculum handbook maps out our curriculum for the children across all areas of development, and progression through the Reception year. Reception Curriculum Handbook 2024
YR Timetable
The timetable outlines what learning takes place when. In the EYFS there is a combination of purposeful play, and adult-led sessions.
Term 3 Reception TimetableThe Reception Baseline Assessment (RBA)
Please see below, information on the RBA. This will take place within the first 6 weeks of the children starting Reception. The purpose is to provide a starting point for a new measure that will help to understand how schools are supporting pupils to make progress through the primary phase. It is short and practical assessment of early literacy, communication, language and mathematical skills.
