Shirehampton Wraparound Care and Clubs
At Shirehampton Primary School, we are pleased to offer a range of childcare and enrichment opportunities to support our families. From our school-run Breakfast Club to a wide variety of extra-curricular clubs and after-school childcare, we aim to provide children with opportunities to learn, play and thrive beyond the school day.
Breakfast Club
Our Breakfast Club is run by Shirehampton Primary School and provides a safe, welcoming start to the school day.
Opening Times
- 7:30am – For working parents (limited spaces available)
- 8:00am – Open to all pupils
The club is free to attend. Families are only asked to contribute towards the cost of any breakfast items their child chooses to have. Food is currently provided by Aspens.
Breakfast Club offers children a calm and positive start to the day, with opportunities to socialise, play and prepare for learning.
After School Childcare
Our after-school childcare is provided by LWOOSA and operates from the school site until 6:00pm each day.
LWOOSA offers a safe, engaging environment where children can take part in a variety of activities after the school day has finished.
LWOOSA also runs a holiday club from one of our school halls during school holidays.

Extra-Curricular Clubs
Throughout the school year, our teachers and teaching assistants generously offer a wide range of clubs for pupils across different year groups.
Clubs vary each term and may include activities such as sport, music, art, computing, gardening, reading and much more.
Most clubs are free of charge, although a small fee may apply for some activities to cover resources or specialist coaching.
Clubs usually finish at 4:15pm.
Parents will receive information about available clubs and how to register at the start of each term through Arbor.
Our clubs are always very popular so it is not always possible for everyone who wants a place to get one but every attempt is made to allocate places as fairly as possible and/or to run additional clubs if there is sufficient demand.
